Kareena Kapoor Khan‘s The Buckingham Murders is making all the right noise. Despite being a female-led crime thriller, the film has been getting good reviews from critics and fans. Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has been lauded for her career-defining performance, is elated with the response the film is receiving. The actress also spoke about why it was important for her to take up a film like The Buckingham Murders in her 25th year in the film industry. At a recent event held to celebrate Kareena and her films by PVR, the actress said that The Buckingham Murders is a very brave film. This film is creating waves in Entertainment News. She revealed that they wanted to be very true to its ethnicity, and authenticity so since it is shot and set in a small town in England they decided that they can’t have people speak in Hindi. “It is the story of local people living there. So we said let’s make a Hindi and English and an Hinglish film and let’s stick to its truest form.” Kareena said that she thought that after 25 years if it’s not now to experiment and do something different, it’s gonna be never. She also recalled how she has taken such brave steps earlier as well. “I’ve always actually tried to do that with films like Chameli and Dev very early on in my career,” she proudly said basking in the success of her recent release on the heels of Jaane Jaan and Crew.
