Shraddha Kapoor is revelling in the success of Stree 2, which hit theatres on August 15. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the horror-comedy also features Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. As a sequel to the 2018 hit Stree, the film has generated immense anticipation over the past six years. The fantastic reception of the sequel highlights the franchise’s growing popularity with audiences. Recently, Shraddha Kapoor took to Instagram to share a nostalgic collage with producer Dinesh Vijan and director Amar Kaushik. The images are from their time working on the original Stree. In her post, Kapoor expressed her gratitude, praising them as the “super duper blockbuster” producer and director of Stree 2, and thanked them for giving her the chance to be part of such a successful franchise. Speaking of Stree 2’s box office collection, the movie is expected to enter the Rs 500 crore club soon. It has managed to break several records and turned out to be the biggest hit of 2024 so far. As the sequel ends on another cliffhanger, fans can’t wait for the makers to update the Stree 3 release date.
