Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar reveal why Ammi was hospitalized and why she had to undergo surgery

Shoaib Ibrahim shot the new vlog from the hospital itself. The actor shared how Ammi has been doing. Thankfully, she has been recovering very well, much better than the doctors hoped or guessed at first. Dipika Kakar, Ruhaan, Dipika’s mom, Saba and her husband were also there in the hospital worrying about Ammi while the others prayed for her at home. In the vlog, we saw Shoaib taking immense care of his mother, proving yet again what an amazing son he is. Later in the video, we see Shoaib and Dipika sitting together and talking about the cause of Ammi’s hospitalization and surgery. Dipika reveals that Ammi noticed blood flowing through her urine recently. Ammi has been in menopause for the last decade or so. Hence, they consulted the doctor who asked them to observe for a couple more days. When it happened again, they took her to a gynaec who revealed that polyps had occurred in Ammi’s uterus which is mucus-like and leaking blood. It had to be removed surgically. Ammi was very worried and scared but she went through with it bravely. Shoaib and Dipika reveal that such things are very common in women and during menopause.

The two of them explained the whole thing very simply and comprehensively, telling their fans that it was absolutely normal. However, once removed, polyps can occur again. Hence, Shoaib and Dipika also revealed the kinds of treatment available. There are two things which can be done, firstly, one can remove it surgically or secondly, one can remove their uterus which is also very normal. Dipika revealed that her mother’s uterus had been removed already. Dipika and Shoaib always keep sharing such helpful information with fans.
