Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham proved to be a dynamite. It exploded at the box office and turned out to be one of the highest grossing films ever. Considering that it was Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film after a small hiatus, viewers flocked the theatres to get a glimpse of the superstar back on the big screen. The film helmed by Siddharth Anand had enough thrill and action to keep fans entertained. Well, those who are anticipating Pathaan 2, here’s an update! The writer of Pathaan, Abbas Tyrewala shared a big update about Pathaan 2 that will get all the Shah Rukh Khan fans excited. In a conversation with Cyrus, he mentioned that the script of Pathaan 2 has reached the dialogue stage. When asked about the sequel of the high-octane action thriller, Abbas Tyrewala said, “I believe the script is almost ready for dialogue.” The writer hoped that the makers would call him again to pen the dialogues for Pathaan 2. Though earlier there were reports suggesting that the production house YRF and Shah Rukh Khan have plans to keep Pathaan as a standalone film, this revelation by Abbas Tyrewala gives hopes to the fans that the sequel is indeed on the cards. And may be it will come sooner than expected. Whether the star cast will remain the same is yet to be known. Apart from Pathaan 2, there has been a lot of chat around Tiger vs Pathaan. The film is expected to bring Salman Khan aka Tiger and Shah Rukh Khan aka Pathaan together. Though both the stars had cameos in each other’s films – Pathaan and Tiger 3, a full-fledged film starring the two mighty Khan appears to be a guaranteed package for a big box office dhamaka. However, there is no confirmation yet on Tiger vs Pathaan.
