Prateik Babbar reveals shocking details about drug use in his childhood, ‘My family situation…’

Recently, actor Prateik Babbar opened up about his struggle and complicated journey with drugs. The actor made a shocking revelation about getting introduced to drugs before he even turned 12. The actor was quite open about how he overcome everything.

In an interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Prateik Babbar said that people think that he started doing drugs after getting into movies and earning fame. But that’s not the truth. He was not even 13 when he first got introduced to drugs. Babbar revealed that he was terrified as he wasn’t introduced to it because of the film industry. “Unfortunately, I had a different kind of upbringing, and my family situation was a bit complicated. That’s why I started using drugs. It’s not that fame and money in films led me to it I had already started using drugs then.” Further in this entertainment news, the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na star said that all of that still affects him, even his relationships. The actor said how drugs are associated with trauma and until the trauma isn’t released, it will continue to impact relationships and other areas of life. However, there comes a time in a person’s life when they have to get better and he has been doing it for years now. “My fianc e (actor Priya Banerjee) has been helping me improve in many ways. We’re helping each other grow, though she doesn’t need any improvement she’s perfect! That’s life, you know; you have to move on,” added Prateik Babbar.

On the work front, he was last seen in Khwaabon Ka Jhamela, which was released on Jio Cinema on November 8, 2024. The actor will be seen in AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar, which stars Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna.
