Rapper Hanumankind aka Sooraj Cherukat recently performed at the Modi & US event in New York. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the event. The audience for the same consisted of thousands of Indian-Americans. A lot of videos from the event went viral on social media. In one of the videos, PM Modi greeted the performers on stage and said something interesting to Hanumankind. Netizens have shared their reactions to the same. Hanumankind performed with artists Aditya Gadhvi and Devi Sri Prasad on stage for PM Narendra Modi. After their performance, Modi went to the stage and greeted each artist. The Indian PM hugged rapper Hanumankind on stage and said, ‘Jai Hanuman’. The rapper looked quite delighted by the same. A video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) from the same.

Hanumankind became an internet sensation with his song, Big Dawgs. Born as Sooraj Cherakut in Kerala, India, Cherukat’s family used to move from one place to another often until they settled in Texas, Houston. Some of his other popular tracks are Daily Dose, Beer and Biryani, Skyline, Go to Sleep, etc. On the other hand, Aditya Gadhvi is a popular Gujarati playback singer. Last year, his song Khalasi from Coke Studio India became immensely popular. He also crooned songs for several movies like Viswasam, Ventilator, Shubh Yatra, and Meera. Devi Sri Prasad, popularly known as DSP, is an Indian music composer, singer, and lyricist. He works predominantly in Tollywood movies. Some of the movies where he worked as a music composer are Arya, Gabbar Singh, Srimanthudu, Pushpa: The Rise and Waltair Veerayya, to name a few. DSP has again reunited with Allu Arjun for the music of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Directed by Sukumar, the sequel also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. At the event, PM Modi met top global CEOs for a roundtable forum. During his visit, the PM said India will not be behind anything in technology in a few years. “India is not going to stop now; India is not going to slow down now. India wants more and more devices in the world to run on Made in India chips. The day is not far when you will see Made in India chips here in America as well,” Modi said.
