Bollywood actors have time and again proved their acting skills. The handsome Bollywood hunk Arjun Rampal expressed that he was unhappy with his early career. The supermodel-turned-actor has experienced ups and downs in his career. Om Shanti Om actor Arjun Rampal was born on 26 November 1972 in Jabalpur and moved to Delhi to complete his education. Renowned fashion designer Rohit Bal spotted him at a party in Delhi and signed him as a male model for his shows. In 1994, Arjun Rampal was awarded the Society Face of The Year. He gained a lot of fame as a rising Indian supermodel. He even started getting film offers. Director Rajiv Rai spotted him and signed him for a music video. He also got Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat film, but unfortunately his debut movie failed at the box office. While Housefull actor Arjun was struggling with his acting career, he faced a lot of trouble in paying rent. Arjun used to live in Andheri Mumbai and was unable to afford the place. In an interview with a news portal, Arjun said, ‘I had no source of income in that period of time. I was living in Seven Bungalows (in Andheri, Mumbai) at that time, I had a wonderful landlord, Sardarji. He’d come on the first of every month, and he’d look at me and I’d look at him. He’d say, ‘Nahi hai (You don’t have the money, do you)?’ And I’d shake my head. He’d say, ‘Koi nahi, tu de dega (Never mind, I’m sure you’ll pay me).’ He was the sweetest man; you need those kinds of breaks in your life.’ Arjun’s films did not do well at the box office including Dil Hai Tumhaara, Dil Ka Rishta, Tehzeeb, Asambhav, Vaada, Elaan, Yakeen, Ek Ajnabee, Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai, Darna Zaroori Hai. But, Shah Rukh Khan came to his rescue and he transformed Arjun’s career by giving him a role in Don. In 2007, Arjun collaborated with SRK for Om Shanti Om and later the two did Ra.One. Arjun’s performance in Rock On made him win the National Award for the the Best Supporting Actor. On the work front, Arjun got married to Mehr Jesia. The two got divorced after being married for almost two decades. They are parents to two daughters -Mahikaa and Myra. In April 2018, Arjun Rampal announced that his girlfriend, Gabriella Demetriades, was expecting their first child. She gave birth to son Arik was born in July 2019. Their second baby boy, was born in July 2023. On the work front, Arjun was last seen in the film Crakk opposite Vidyut Jammwal. He is currently shooting with Sanjay Dutt and Ranveer Singh for his upcoming project.
