In today’s exciting entertainment news update, we have information on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 and a contestant named Utkarsh Baxi, who missed the chance to win Rs. 25 lakh due to a challenging question related to the Mahabharata. Utkarsh, an HR professional from Bangalore, was asked, “According to the Mahabharata, which God gifted a garland to Amba, declaring that whoever wears it will be the one to kill Bhishma?” The options provided by Amitabh Bachchan were Lord Krishna, Lord Kartikeya, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Vayu. Unsure of the correct answer, Utkarsh used the “Video Call a Friend” lifeline. His friend suggested that the answer might be Lord Shiva. Still uncertain, Utkarsh decided to use another lifeline, “Double Dip,” which allows the contestant to give two answers. However, this lifeline comes with a risk: once used, the contestant cannot quit the game and must proceed with answering. Utkarsh first chose the answer his friend suggested, Lord Shiva, which turned out to be incorrect. Then, he selected Lord Vayu, but unfortunately, that was also wrong. Consequently, Utkarsh lost his chance to win Rs. 25 lakh. The correct answer was Lord Kartikeya. As reported by India Today, host Amitabh Bachchan explained, “Lord Kartikeya, after rigorous penance, appeared in front of Amba in his six-faced avatar and presented her with a garland. He said whoever wears it will be able to kill Bhishma. Since nobody was ready to do it, he threw it on a pole. Later, when Amba was reborn as Shikhandi, she wore the garland and killed Bhishma.”
