Kangana Ranaut doesn’t believe in hesitating when it’s about sharing her opinions or views. Currently, she is busy promoting her upcoming movie, Emergency. In the movie, she will be playing the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. She will soon appear in the new Aap Ki Adaalat episode alongside Rajat Sharma for promotion. Well, Kangana has once again grabbed headlines by taking a dig at Indira Gandhi’s grandson and Congress’ Political Leader Rahul Gandhi. Now, the promo clip of the episode is making waves in the entertainment news world, thanks to Kangana Ranaut’s tongue-in-cheek response when asked if Rahul Gandhi would enjoy her movie Emergency. In the promo clip, when Kangana was asked how she felt about Rahul liking Emergency, she first gave the audience a serious look. She then commented, “If he watches Tom & Jerry cartoons at home, how could he possibly understand my film?” The actress said in Hindi, “Agar woh ghar jaakar Tom & Jerry dekhte honge toh unhe kaise samajh aayegi?”. Now that’s Kangana being Kangana! In the teaser, Rajat Sharma also asked Kangana why she is filming about one of the most controversial topics in Indian political history. The Fashion actress also explained the reason she chose such a subject for her first solo directorial feature. Kangana mentioned that while people say it is controversial, it is also a well-kept secret. According to her, our generation has no information about it. This isn’t the first time she has brought up Rahul Gandhi while promoting the movie. In a recent interview with India Today TV, she shared her perspective on Indira Gandhi, stating she doesn’t see her solely as Rahul Gandhi’s grandmother. Ranaut also stressed the need to challenge the mindset that confines people to fixed roles, urging individuals to delve deeper into India’s historical and political legacy. Earlier, on her social media platform X, Kangana wrote, “He is bitter, poisonous and destructive his agenda is that if he can’t be the Prime Minister then he might as well destroy this nation. The Hindenburg report targeting our stock market that Rahul Gandhi was endorsing last night has turned out to be a damp squib.”

Meanwhile, the movie also features Anupam Kher, Satish Shah, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Choudhary, and others. It will hit theatres on September 6, 2024. Kangana Ranaut is busy with the promotions of her upcoming movie Emergency, in which she plays Indira Gandhi. The actress gave an unexpected reaction when asked what Rahul Gandhi would think of her movie.
