Akshay Kumar is currently busy promoting his upcoming movie, Khel Khel Mein. The film, directed by Mudassar Aziz, is apparently a remake of the 2016 Italian comedy-drama Perfect Strangers. It stars Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and Ammy Virk. The movie revolves around seven friends who decide to test their relationships by playing a game of revealing secrets. In an interview with News18 Showsha, Akshay Kumar gave an exciting scoop for fans of entertainment news. The actor was asked how he would feel if his wife, Twinkle Khanna, checked his phone. He stated that he wouldn’t be worried at all if she decided to look at it. Akshay mentioned that his phone is often left around with his staff or lying around charging at home, so he has nothing to hide. Further, Akshay shared his thoughts on making the game more interesting. He believes that a phone game can be more engaging than an outdoor game because it requires a lot of mental effort. According to the Khiladi star, while outdoor games offer physical excitement, a phone game demands constant mental engagement as one has to stay alert and think strategically about what to do next if their partner or friend reads their personal messages. Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have been married for over two decades. In a recent interview, Akshay was asked for marriage advice. The Phir Hera Pheri star responded that he prefers not to offer tips, believing that everyone should experience and learn from their own life experiences. Khel Khel Mein is scheduled to release in theatres on August 15, 2024. It will face competition from two other Hindi films: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2 and John Abraham and Sharwari Wagh’s Vedaa. Additionally, it will be up against the Telugu movie Double iSmart. This film marks Akshay Kumar’s third release of 2024, following Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira, both of which did not perform well at the box office.
