Released in 2000, the movie launched two of the most prominent actors of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel. It’s the same film for which earlier Kareena Kapoor Khan was finalized to play the female lead, but as destiny had it, the film went into the kitty of Ameesha Patel. Apart from being critics’ favorite, the film was also a massive box office success. The film, made on a budget of 10 crore, ended up earning 80 crore at the box office. Ameesha Patel recently conducted an Ask Me Anything session with fans on her respective social media. While the actress received many questions and queries, which she happily answered, one particular question grabbed much attention. One of the social media users asked Ameesha if Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai can ever have a sequel. To which the actress states that Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai 2 might see the light of the day when the coveted conversions are inevitably prepared for a 60 crores plus opening. She further added that when in sight is ready for another havoc again on box office, it means Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai 2 is ready too. Ameesha’s answer states that she is confident enough that just like the first film, the second installment when crafted will shatter all the box office records. Talking about Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, it has registered its name both in Guinness World Records and Limca Book of Records for the greatest number of awards won by a Bollywood film. In fact, Hrithik Roshan, not only won the Award for Best Actor debut but also won the award for best actor in a feature film.
