Bollywood actor Govinda recently ended up shooting himself in the leg early Tuesday morning and left his fans shocked. Well, the actor was rushed to the hospital and he shared a voice note as he said that he was out of danger. Govinda said, ‘Hello, this is Govinda. With the blessings of my fans, my parents and God, I am doing better now. I was hit by a bullet, which has now been removed. I thank the doctor here, Dr Agarwal ji. I thank all of you for your prayers’ in his voice note. Actress Kashmera Shah, the wife of nephew Krushna Abhishek was the first among a few people who rushed to meet Govinda in the Mumbai hospital where he is admitted. As per Hindustan Times report, Krushna said that his uncle Govinda is fine now and his wife Kashmera met him. Krushna revealed that he is in Australia right now and Govinda will be discharged in a few days. Moreover, actress Ragini Khanna who is Krushna’s neice also said that her mother and brother visited him in the hospital and Govinda is on his way to recovery. She requested all the fans to pray for his speediest recovery. When asked if Govinda is out of any danger, Ragini said that ‘He is still in… the procedure by doctors has been done’.

As per a report in Firstpost, Govinda has a licensed gun and he was checking the same before leaving for an appointment. Well, the incident took place at around 4.45 am and the bullet is said to have hurt his knee. Govinda joined the political party Shiv Sena. Govinda is a well-known name in the Bollywood industry and has been part of films including Coolie No 1, Hero No 1, Dulara, Saajan Chale Sasural, Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Partner and many more. He took a break from films and made a comeback in films as a lead hero. But, could not be successful and was seen in Rangeela Raja. He also judged Dance Bangla Dance in 2021.
