Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein: Here’s why Shakti Arora’s character Ishaan is hands-down a better male lead than the troublesome Virat Chavan

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein: Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma’s starrer television show is captivating audiences’ hearts with its interesting storyline. Die-hard fans who have been following the show from its first seasons, featuring Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, and Ayesha Singh in lead roles, know that the current season is certainly better than the previous one, especially regarding the male lead. Neil Bhatt’s Virat Chavan was often termed one of the most toxic male leads in television history. Virat’s character leaned towards being controlling, often choosing family and ex-girlfriend over his wife, even when she was right. Although Ishaan also has his flaws, we list below why Shakti Arora’s character is more relatable than Virat Chavan. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein: Ishaan, the true believer of dreams

In the initial episodes when Reeva informed Ishaan about going to London, although heartbroken, Ishaan never stopped Reeva from fulfilling her dreams. In fact, in recent episodes when Savi’s focus shifted from studies, Ishaan was the first to give her a piece of his mind. While Virat was supportive of Sai’s dream of becoming a doctor, he often acted as an obstacle in her path to success.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein: Ishaan Maintains a Safe Distance from His Past Love

Though Ishaan and Reeva still share a great bond and consider each other best friends, Ishaan, unlike Virat, knows his limits. Unlike Virat, Ishaan’s actions are clear, truly stating that although he doesn’t love Savi, he will be loyal to their relationship as long as it lasts. Ishaan has never been seen crossing any boundaries with Reeva, which Virat often did with Pakhi, who was actually his sister-in-law.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein: Unlike Virat, Ishaan Is Not Rigid with His Opinions

Ishaan is more on the calm side. Virat’s opinions were too strong, which was one reason Virat and Sai never led a happy life together. While Ishaan has his opinions, he never imposes them on Savi, always acknowledging the possibility that he could be wrong.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein: Ishaan; A Better-Written Character than Virat Chavan

Ishaan’s character is more wholesome and well-written compared to Virat Chavan. Ishaan is flawed and messy but has a good heart, as seen in the episodes. While Virat was a much more opinionated character, he often failed to differentiate between right and wrong, resulting in Sai leaving him. However, this is television, and we sincerely hope that Ishaan’s character can continue to be flawed without turning toxic like Virat Chavan.
