He stated that back in 2016, Sunny Deol agreed to feature in his production venture. The actor allegedly took money from him in advance, however, did not shoot for it. To the portal, Sorav Gupta claimed that he gave Rs 1 crore in advance to Sunny Deol. However, in 2017, the actor shot for Poster Boys instead of his film. Further, the filmmaker alleged that the actor kept asking for money. He claims that around Rs 2.55 crore has been sent to Sunny Deol by him. Not just this, Sorav Gupta also accuses Sunny Deol of forging documents and agreement. He was quoted saying, “When we read the agreement, humne dekha ki unhonein toh panna hi change kar diya beech wala, jahan par fees ka amount 4cr ko badha kar 8cr kar diya aur profit to 2cr kar diya.” As per the report, a police case has now been filed against the actor and a notice was sent to him. Another film producer named Suneel Darshan also backed Sourav Gupta’s claims. He shared that Sunny Deol had acquired rights for his movie Ajay from oversees distribution but he did not get full money. The reports also has an industry source calling Sunny Deol a ‘known troublemaker’. He shared that Sunny Deol had signed a movie called Ram Janmbhumi for Rs 5 crore but post the success of Gadar 2, he demanded Rs 25 crore. Sunny Deol and his team hasn’t made any official comments on these allegations yet.
