Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh recently welcomed a baby girl on September 8. The new parents are on cloud nine these days as they embrace parenthood. Well, there are reports that Deepika is on maternity leave and has plans to extend it as she wants to be with her baby girl. A close friend of Ranveer and Deepika was quoted by Zoom saying that Deepika is completely consumed by her new role. The beautiful actress wanted to be a mom and it seems as if she has finally found solace in it. The actress has been enjoying her new life with her baby girl and is enjoying the motherhood phase. The source said that she doubted that Deepika would return to study anytime soon. Well, we all know that Deepika Padukone is a family-oriented person and she always wanted to have a baby. The actress has time and again proved that there is nothing that she cannot do. Deepika has tried to strike a balance in her personal and professional life and she might also ace being an amazing mom to her baby girl and slay in roles that she has been offered once her child is a little big. As per the source, Deepika has no pending assignment except Kalki and the diva has already shot her portions of the film sequel before her maternity leave. She made sure that nothing was pending and the actress will not sign anything now. She will not go back to work until next year said the source.
