Anil Kapoor is going to be the host of Bigg Boss OTT 3. He has taken over from Salman Khan and yesterday, a big press conference was held for the same. Anil Kapoor was as usual his candid best and had some entertaining answers to questions thrown at him by journalists. The actor was asked about replacing Salman Khan as the host and being a part of Bigg Boss. He stated that it is a job and everyone will have work. At the Bigg Boss OTT 3 press conference, Anil Kapoor stated that he has replaced and he has been replaced in many projects. But all of that is okay and work goes on. People are just doing their jobs and they should do it with a lot sincerity and honesty, is what he adviced. He then asked people to watch Bigg Boss Marathi as Riteish Deshmukh is hosting it. He called him his younger brother. Anil Kapoor was further quoted saying, “We are all well-wishers of each other. Sometimes I replace him, sometimes he replaces me. But, this word (replace) is wrong. Everyone will have work. Sometimes it doesn’t work out due to time or dates. Recently, I was replaced in two places in films. Now, what is the reason I don’t know. But these things happen. We are just doing our jobs with sincerity and honesty. That’s what life is.”

Anil Kapoor who played pivotal roles in No Entry and Welcome is not a part of their upcoming sequels. In Welcome, Anil Kapoor played the role of Majnu Bhai. He and Nana Patekar were the most entertaining in Welcome and Welcome 2. Boney Kapoor recently announced No Entry 2. He has brought in younger stars like Arjun Kapoor and others to take the franchise forward. The producer did mention that his brother Anil Kapoor is upset with him that he is not going to be a part of No Entry 2. In a Bigg Boss OTT 3 press conference, host Anil Kapoor seemingly commented upon not being a part of No Entry 2 and Welcome 3.Â
