In an earlier interview, he told Pinkvilla, “I will not be a part of this season of The Kapil Sharma Show, and there is no specific reason. I just wanted a break.” His absence from Kapil’s latest Netflix special, The Great Indian Kapil Show, also caught fans’ attention. Kapil Sharma himself addressed the exits of both Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar from his show. In an interview with Aaj Tak, the actor-comedian shared that both actors left for “different reasons” and the decisions about the show’s cast are now made by the channel, not him.

There is even speculation that Abdu Rozik may co-host a special segment of the show alongside Salman Khan. As per the reports, Salman Khan’s show is set to premiere on October 5, 2024.
