Shah Rukh Khan death threat: Cops arrest a lawyer in Raipur

A few days ago, it was reported that a death threat was given to Shah Rukh Khan. The Bandra Police station received a threat call demanding Rs 50 lakh. If they failed to do so, the caller threatened to harm the superstar. Since then, the cops have been thoroughly investing the case to get their hands on the culprit. The Mumbai Police traced the call, which took them to a lawyer in Raipur.

When the cops arrived in Raipur, the police found that the number belongs to a lawyer named Faizan Khan. However, Faizan told the police that his phone was stolen a few days before the threatening call was made to Shah Rukh Khan. He was also interrogated for hours. The cops then focused on finding out who stole the phone. However, in a latest update, the lawyer has now been arrested. As reported by the Hindustan Times, Faizan Khan was summoned as the call was made using his number. However, Faizan didn’t show up before the police. It made the cops suspicious who arrested him in Raipur. The Bandra police has registered a case under sections 308(4) and 351(3)(4) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The threat to Shah Rukh Khan was made just a few days before a similar threat was made to Salman Khan. The security is tightened for Salman for quite sometime now.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was recently spotted at a studio as he was dubbing for the movie Mufasa: The Lion King. The superstar will be next seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s King. The thriller film also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan. It will hit theatres in 2026. Shah Rukh Khan recently received a death threat, as a call was made to the Bandra Police station.
