She changed her name from Saira Ali to Reena Roy. The actress made her debut with the film Zaroorat in 1992, which also features Vijay Arora, Danny Denzongpa and Asit Sen. For the movie, Reena, who was just 15, had to do many semi-nude scenes. One scene is of Asit, who was 40 back them, attempting to rape her character. Reena Roy’s career took off very well and she was a part of many big movies. However, until 1975, the actress was given more such roles where she was objectified. But once her acting shone, filmmakers wrote better roles for Reena. She then starred in movies like Asha, Arpan, Nagin, Nasseb, Jaani Dushman and others.
