Television actress Madalsa Sharma who played the role of Kavya in Rajan Shahi’s popular drama show Anupamaa has quit the serial. The actress departed from the show after the exit of Sudhanshu Pandey who played the role of Vanraj. In an interview, the actress spoke about her decision to quit the show suddenly.

Actress Madala Sharma said that she is not going to be a part of Bigg Boss 18. She also said that there are rumours about her participation in Bigg Boss 18 which are not true. She even spoke about her decision and said that it was a well-thought-out one. In an interview with entertainment news portal Pinkvilla, Madalsa said that she had been in talks with the makers to give Kavya’s character an edge, as that had gone missing for a while due to multiple tracks going on. But, the makers had been trying their best to work something out. She and Rajan Shahi mutually agreed that she could now move on from Anupamaa and venture out for something new altogether. She said that she had given four years of commitment to Anupamaa and now it was time to move on.

Madalsa Sharma also spoke about if there are chances of Kavya’s return to the show. She said that she is unaware of Anupamaa’s future storyline and that her role as Kavya did not have much to contribute to the show. The actress said that her character Kavya had a spark that went missing and then she decided to depart from Anupamaa and is now focusing on doing other projects. Well, Madalsa’s exit from Anupamaa came as a shock for all fans. Earlier, there were reports of Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna quitting the show, but the actors seem to be enjoying their part in Anupamaa.   Is Anupamaa star Madalsa Sharma aka Kavya all set to participate in Bigg Boss season 18?
