But did you know Shah Rukh made this heartfelt gesture at the director-choreographer’s wedding? Farah Khan got married to Shirish Kunder in the year 2004. Several people were part of her wedding, including Shah Rukh Khan. At that time, the Pathaan actor performed the Kanyadaan ceremony for her. It’s a ritual in which the father “gives away” his daughter to her husband, the new family she’s going to be a part of. A video from Farah’s wedding was shared on Reddit recently. Farah Khan made her directorial debut in 2004 with the movie Main Hoon Na, which stars Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Zayed Khan, and Amrita Rao. Farah and SRK then worked together in Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year. In an earlier interview, the director-choreographer talked about her friendship with the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai star. On Radio Nasha, Farah stated, “Sometimes, you instantly hit it off with somebody. You feel like you’re friends from school. That’s what it was like with Shah Rukh. We had the same interests; we’d read the same books; we had the same sense of humour.”

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan will be hosting the IIFA 2024 this year with Karan Johar. Fans are excited to see SRK and Karan take the stage and entertain everyone. On the movie front, SRK will be working in Sujoy Ghosh’s King next. The shooting is expected to start next year. The thriller film also stars Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.
