Stree 2 has emerged as the biggest hit of this year and in the horror-comedy genre. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. It is a sequel to the 2018 superhit movie Stree. From Maddock Films’ horror-comedy universe, it is the fourth film after Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya. There were many loose ends left at the end of the first Stree movie, including the mystery behind Shraddha Kapoor’s character and her name. As we already know, Kapoor’s character is Stree’s daughter, and hence, she possesses the magical power. However, one thing the makers still haven’t revealed is her name. We would like to inform our entertainment news readers at that the end of Stree 2, Shraddha’s character tells her name on to Vicky (played by Rajkummar Rao) in his ears. Even when his friends ask him what her name was, he doesn’t reveal it. So even the audience is left wondering what her name is and why it is kept a mystery. On Sunday, the actress shared a video compiled with pictures from the sets of her horror comedy movie. She captioned it, “50% Pookie, 50% Maaru kya ???” Fans have left some wonderful comments on her video. However, one person asked Shraddha Kapoor to reveal her name. “But name kya tha ye to batado @shraddhakapoor.” To this, the actress answered that she will tell them her name, but there’s a twist. Everyone has to watch Stree 3 to find out the same. “@raadheyaaa pakka bataungi! Stree 3 mein,” commented the actress.

Meanwhile, Stree 2 has crossed the Rs 555 crore mark at the Indian box office on day 32 of its release. The movie has been showered with tremendous love and appreciation from the audience. It is Maddock Films’ second horror-comedy release of 2024 after Munjya. Even the Aditya Sarpotdar directorial starring Abhay Varma and Sharvari was a box office hit.

Speaking of Stree 3, during the trailer launch, producer Dinesh Vijan confirmed that they already have plans for the third installment. With the post-credit scene featuring Akshay Kumar, fans are wondering if he will be the main villain in the third part.
