Due to IPL 2024, there was a significant dip in TRP of the Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma starter. Even after major twists and turns, the TRPs didn’t improve; hence the makers decided to introduce a new cast to include a fresh perspective in the show. As per a report in Filmibeat, while TRPs are one of the reasons behind such drastic decisions, another big reason to let go of Shakti Arora from the show is budget issues. Apparently, Shakti Arora charges a hefty amount for his role. Post Covid-19 scenarios, production houses are dealing with major financial crunches. As the show’s TRP is not up to the mark, Shakti’s contract was also nearing its end, and the fact that replacing Shakti with a new actor who won’t charge as much as Shakti does is something which the makers took into consideration before arriving at the decision. Shakti recently stated that although he is aware of the news of Ishaan’s track ending in the show, as of now, he hasn’t received any confirmation about his exit from the channel or the production house.
